Sport Calgary's legendary free sport discovery day returns! Kids and youth ages 6–17 can try 55+ sports — fencing, handball, rhythmic gymnastics, track cycling, and more — led by local clubs at 11 venues across the city. All sessions are pressure-free and designed for first-timers. Register early at sportcalgary.ca — 6,512 spots available across 270 sessions!

The National Music Centre throws open its doors for free on National Indigenous Peoples Day! Catch live performances by throat singers Tudjaat, country-folk artist Black Crow Funk, and Blackfoot traditional singer Norvin Eagle Speaker with dancers — then explore all five floors of exhibits and an Indigenous artisan vendor market. One of Calgary's most special annual free events.

Alberta's beloved Millarville Farmers' Market kicks off its 44th summer season at the Millarville Racetrack! Runs every Saturday through October 10.
